AMH/MIS, a member of the TGF-ß family, in addition to its key role in sex differentiation, is involved in the development and function of fetal and postnatal gonads. AMH/MIS is a reliable marker of immature testicular function and ovarian tumors. During the meeting, basic molecular and cellular issues as well as clinical applications will be addressed. Introductory lectures, round tables, and poster presentations (deadline for abstracts: July 10, 2002) are scheduled.
