IDF PARIS 2003

Aiming to unite an anticipated 12,000 participants including doctors, researchers, educators, professionals allied to medicine, and association representatives, the 18th International Diabetes Federation Congress, to be held at Le Palais des Congrès, Paris, France from 24–29 August 2003, will offer three congresses in one, at the same time, in the same place:

• An ambitious "Basic Research and Clinical Research & Care" programme focusing on advanced scientific knowledge in all aspects of Diabetology.
  
• A "Life with Diabetes" forum dedicated to people living with Diabetes, incorporating a creative Association Village promoting the actions and projects of associations around the world, a substantial qualitative programme, chat groups, and a unique "History of Diabetes" exhibition.
  
• Stimulating sessions, presentations, and debates focusing on "Professions Allied to Medicine" and "Healthcare Organisation" led by a panel of distinguished experts.
