about Individual (Non-Member) Subscriptions

  1. Will I receive a password? May I share my password with friends, or is use limited solely to me?

    Yes, when you complete the subscription process, you will select a user name and a password. You are the only one licensed to use this password.

  2. What if I forget my password?

  3. Why should I get an Individual (Non-Member) subscription?

    Individual Subscribers have access to:
    Tables of contents, abstracts, full text searching, full text display, PDFs, links to Medline and GenBank, future tables of contents, and the advantage of having password access to Endocrine Journals Online from any computer connected to the Internet.

  4. How can I tell if my institution has subscribed? How do I get my institution to subscribe?

    If your institution has a paper subscription, it will also have an electronic version of the journal as well. And you will automatically have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full text display, PDFs, Medline and GenBank links, and future tables of contents. You will also see a button at the top of the page confirming you are signed in as part of an institution.

    If your institution does not have a paper subscription, it may purchase an electronic version of Endocrine Journals. If you would like to have an institutional subscription, please contact your librarian.

  5. Will I still be able to get the paper version? And for how long?

    Yes, individuals and institutions will continue to be able to receive the paper version.

  6. Who is eligible for an Individual (Non-Member) and a Member Subscription?

    Individual (Non-Member) subscriptions are available to individuals, providing them with a paper and an electronic version of the journal. ES Members are eligible for Member Subscriptions to Endocrine Journals, providing them with a paper and electronic version of the journal. Members and Non-Members may also have access to Endocrine Society Journals Online through an Institutional Subscription. Institutional Subscriptions are somewhat more limited than Member Subscriptions. The special member services are not available to non-member subscribers.

  7. How can I access Endocrine Journals Online if I am not an Endocrine Society member and I do not have access through an institutional subscription?

    You may wish to apply for membership in The Endocrine Society or you may wish to purchase an Individual (Non-Member) print subscription and access to the electronic version. Without a subscription you have access to Tables of contents, abstracts, and full text searching (without full text viewing) at no cost and without having to register.
